English (or Japanese) speaking assistant

NTHU cosmology group is seeking a part-time Chinese-English speaking assistant.

Required Qualification:
Fluency in Chinese and English (or Japanese)

Main tasks:
• Help with Chinese emails/documents, both verbally and in written form (word-for-word translation is not needed. Brief summaries suffice.)
• Help verbal communications with administration offices.

Working hours:
Three half-days (4 hours×3) per week. Actual working days are flexible. Initial work term is 3 months from late August.

Work Place:
Institute of Astronomy, National Tsing Hua University (General building II, R515), No. 101, Section 2, Kuang-Fu Road, Hsinchu, Taiwan 30013

Salary will be commensurate with your qualification and actual working hours. For example, 10,000NTD per month for three half-days a week.

Research related knowledge is not required. Both students and non-students are welcome to apply. If you are a student, please make sure you have time to work three half-days among your class schedule.
