We are looking for a part-time working student during this summer and next semester (starting at the beginning of July would be ideal)with basic knowledge of molecular biology.

We need one undergraduate senior student that can help us about 5-10h per week (flexible time), 3-4 months duration, to analyze Arabidopsis transgenic plants expressing transporter mutant.

The pay is NT.5000/per month.

Preference is given to someone with knowledge of molecular biology skills, e.g. cloning, PCR, and protein separation/detection.

The candidate will also learn more techniques in the lab, like plant cultivation, colorimetric assay, generation/analysis of Arabidopsis transgenic plants and western blot, etc.

Prof. Lee-Wei Yang and Tzu-Yin Liu’s groups are currently working on plant transporter biology using structural bioinformatics and molecular biology tools.
